Rhadshur Warrior is an Eamon adventure written by Roger Pender and released in January 1987.
Background
In a walkthrough published in the June 1996 issue of the club newsletter, Tom Zuchowski writes that Rhadshur Warrior was "another one of the 'Life-Orb' series of Eamons that resulted from an NEUC contest held long ago." When John Nelson announced the three adventures resulting from the NEUC adventure contest he didn't mention Pender's, so the club likely received it after the contest ended.
Originally on two diskettes, the adventure was later modified to fit onto a single disk.
Premise
In the distant future the world of Eamon is led by a council of wise mystics and protected by the Adventurers Guild who practice a blend of magic and science known as rhadshur. One mystic aspiring to the council — Threndor Tokas, distant descendant of Hokas Tokas — recently opened a portal to a world named Zagora in a parallel universe, but too late realized that it was evil and twisted. A blight is now spreading from the portal, and Thendor, the only one capable of closing it, has been incapacitated by agents of Zagora who have stolen his life-orb.
As a skilled adventurer and practitioner of rhadshur, you have been chosen to enter Zagora and retrieve Threndor's orb so he may be restored to health and close the gateway.

---|
The time is the far distant future. Science and sorcery have intermingled and merged into a semi-scientific, semi-mystic art called Rhadshur. The land of Eamon is ruled by six benevolent sorcerers called the Council of the Mystics. Under their reign, the kingdom has prospered. Disease, sickness, pestilence, and famine are a thing of the past. For the past millennium, the Free Adventurers Guild has been an elite guard used to protect the frontiers from encroachment by rival kingdoms and migrating barbarians. The Free Adventurers, taught and guided by the Mystics using the art of Rhadshur, have become the most deadly and efficient fighters in the history of the planet. They are proficient with every weapon and have become masters of the ancient martial art of Tae Kwondo. Things were going well until Threndor Tokas, a direct descendent of the great Hokas Tokas and a prime candidate to fill the next vacancy on the Council of Mystics, discovered a parallel universe! Zagora was identical to the world of Eamon; yet at the same time, different: evil, twisted, and deadly. Threndor immediately realized the danger and stopped the experiment; but it was too late. An opening had been created between the two universes and a deadly blight was spreading over the kingdom of Eamon. Crops are dying, a plague is spreading, formerly harmless animals are attacking man without warning. Unless the hole is sealed, the world of Eamon is doomed. The evil Mystics of Zagora are aware of this and wish the hole to remain open so that they may plunder the kingdom. They are using sorcery to keep the hole open. They have also stolen the life orb of Threndor, the only one capable of defeating them and closing the hole. He now lies unconscious and at the brink of death. He gets weaker with each passing day. The Council of Mystics has chosen you, the best of the Free Adventurers, to enter Zagora and retrieve Threndor's life orb. You will be accompanied by the latest model seeker robot. Three Free Adventurers have entered Zagora as scouts - none have returned. However, the last one did manage to recruit two allies: a blood guard centurion named Telos and a mercenary warrior/sorceress named Morraine. The recognition signal is CAULDRON. You have been given armour of the type worn by members of the Assassins Guild of Zagora. We hope this disguise will be adequate to enable you to infiltrate the evil kingdom. You may abort your mission at any time by saying 'RYNAC'. However, you are our last hope. If you fail, the kingdom of Eamon is doomed! You close your eyes and go to third level meditation. You slowly bring your heartbeat and respiration back to normal. You feel the Mystics reach out and gently soothe your troubled mind. You go to tenth level meditation and form a mental image of your Ki. It shines gloriously like a fiercely blazing sun. You open your eyes and address the Mystics. You speak but three words, the oath of a Rhadshur Warrior: 'Fidelis ad Mortis'. 'Faithful to the Death'!! The Mystics acknowledge your reply with a nod and begin to chant. The room begins to shimmer and you are transported to the evil kingdom. |
Walkthrough
EAG president Tom Zuchowski wrote a walkthrough for Orb of My Life that was published in the June 1996 issue of the Eamon Adventurer's Guild Newsletter. He begins by sharing some hints for those who want to try to complete the adventure without the walkthrough, then gives step-by-step instructions for how navigate through Zagora and recover Threndor's life-orb.
Trivia
- In Derek Jeter's 2013 adventure The Treachery of Zorag, a lute player in the Black Horse Tavern in Behlos City sings a song about a harlot from Zagora named Tamsin.
