The Dragon of Aldaar is an Eamon adventure written by Glenn Gribble and released by the Eamon Adventurer's Guild in December 2000. It's the only adventure authored by Gribble, and in correspondence with Huw Williams in 2022 he recalled writing it while in high school in 1980, making it among the earliest Eamon adventures. Gribble shared the adventure with friends and didn't know how it later migrated to the EAG.

Tom Zuchowski, introducing the adventure in the December 2000 newsletter, said he'd heard about the adventure for years and was finally able to obtain a copy thanks to Tony Baechler. Zuchowski called the adventure remarkable and impressive: "The specials and the sophistication of the extra programming put this old Eamon on a par with a version 6 Eamon containing lots of programmed specials."

Premise

From the adventure's introduction:

As you start on your journey in search of the Dragon of Aldaar, you meet an old witch on the side of the road who needs help. While you fix her wagon wheel she says, "Deary, I know what ye search for and where it be. For a small price, I can mix up a vial that will give you the special strengths you need to slay the dragon."
