Premise

The adventure begins with a radio exchange between Moon Base and Mission Control:

Mayday, mayday, Mission Control. Do you copy, over?

This is Mission Control, Moon Base. What seems to be the problem, over?

Ship sensors are picking up at least 3 large life forms headed this way, over.

Report full, direction headed and speed, moon base. The Russians reported escape of top secret experiment, over.

...

Come in Moon Base, this is Mission Control.

...

Repeat, come in Moon Base, over.

...

Mission Control, Houston, this is Mission Control, Cape Cod. Please be advised that we have lost all contact with Moon Base. Last report was of a group of at least 3 large objects moving toward Moon Base. Assume all on board dead. Tell the Russians we will have to scrap all further search for their lost patrol until we have solved our own problem, over.

Roger, Cape Cod. It looks like we'll have to send in our specialist for this job. Suit 'em up...
