Venus flytrap

The Venus flytrap is a variety of carnivorous plant that grows on the world of Eamon and appears in several adventures. Unlike its terrestrial counterpart, the flytrap is large, strong, and quick enough to be able to attack adventurers.

The Venus flytrap first appears in Cave of the Mind by Jim Jacobson, with another specimen appearing The Adventurer's General Store by Ryan Page. It's also mentioned in Keith Dechant's Malleus Maleficarum.

The unidentified "man-eating plant" grown in the Crystal Kingdom may be the same species.
