Walkthrough

Adventure map by Huw Williams

You begin in the entrance to the dragons' chambers, with an exit back to the Main Hall leading up and passages heading north, east, and west.

  1. Defeat the small dragon near the entrance.
  2. Go east and examine the corridor to find a secret passage leading east. It opens into a secret cavern where you can collect some valuable dragon eggs.
  3. Take the corridor north into a small chamber where a "wimpy person" may join you.
  4. Exit east into a hallway, then north into the Silver Room. Fight the silver dragon and take the coins.
  5. Go west twice to a four-way intersection.
  6. Go south into a Red Room, defeat the red dragon, and take the rubies. Return north to the intersection.
  7. Go west into the Green Room, fight the green dragon, and take the emerald.
  8. Go south twice into the Gold Room and repeat the process with the Gold Dragon.
  9. Return to the Green Room and go west to a four-way intersection.
  10. Raid the north, south, and west rooms, kill the dragons, and collect the treasures.
  11. Return to the four-way intersection and go north. A sign will warn you of impending deadly danger!
  12. Go north once more and you're in an enormous chamber occupied by a huge, nasty dragon. Fight it and take the scepter; the dragons are now all defeated.
  13. Return all the way straight south to the entrance chamber, go up, and your adventure is complete.

Reviews

In announcing the adventure's release in the May 1985 newsletter, John Nelson wrote that the adventure was suitable for beginners but would probably be boring for experienced players, given that it's simple and contains little to no special programming.

Tom Zuchowski rated the adventure a 3 out of 10 for its very sparse content, but felt it was cleanly written and suggested it would be an "excellent choice for the Young Eamonaut".
