Dungeon of Doom is an Eamon adventure written by Dan Knezek.
Premise
From the introduction:
Dear Adventurer:
You have been chosen by the A.A.A. (Adventurers' Association of America) as the only one capable of the following task: You are to enter the dark recesses of the dungeon of the great dragon, Shantieka, in search of the BLACK SWORD. It has been said that Shantieka herself guards the sword, deep in the dungeon's lower level. You are to find it, and then return it to the A.A.A. (by making it out of the dungeon alive). If you should make it back with the sword, great wealth and fame shall be yours. And now, you are teleported into Shantieka's dungeon. Good luck.

Notes
Knezek includes the following notes about his adventure:
Welcome to Dungeon of Doom! This adventure is a little different than most Eamons, because it's in 80-columns and it has some different commands. It is suggested that when you're prompted for a command for the first time, you just type "help", to familiarize yourself with the newer commands.
Here are just a few of D.O.D.'s features:
- unlimited Power and Heal spell usage;
- a key click which can be toggled on/off;
- a prompt bell which can be toggled on/off;
- a save and restore which allows multiple saved games;
- a status command which allows examination of your character's abilities, etc. during play;
- Eamon Master independent play: you only need the Master to leave and first enter D.O.D. — just boot this disk for everyday play when you have a character inside D.O.D. already.
Trivia
- The dragon Shantieka reappears in Frank Black's adventure Fiends of Eamon
