Premise
From the introduction:
There is nothing wrong with your computer. Do not turn it off or press reset. Until you get out of this adventure (assuming you survive and find your way out) the computer will be controlling everything that you see and hear (so to speak). The computer will be controlling the video. It will be controlling the text on the screen. The computer will control what you see. It will control what you hear. If it wishes, it will not let you know anything, or it might reveal some information that might give a clue. You are about to find out what can happen if some people make a bad mistake. If you think that the place you go to is bad, the results of the same mistake in the real world would be even worse.
You probably are beginning to think you should not have come here. Too late!!! There has just been a full scale nuclear war where you are going and you are just about to get close to what is known as Ground Zero. I am not sure how to get back to the Main Hall from here, or even if you can get back, or even survive. You probably wish that you didn't come here. Now. Too late! There is no turning back now.
I repeat: there is nothing wrong with the computer. It is in charge. Until you return home or die, it will be controlling everything that you can see and do, so relax beside the computer and witness the awesome destruction that awaits you in a place called Ground Zero.

Trivia
- The adventure's introduction is based on that of the 1960s TV series The Outer Limits which begins, "There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling the transmission." (See intro)
