Hermit

Hermits are solitary individuals who appear in various Eamon adventures. Usually presented as an old, disheveled, and often mentally unstable man carrying few if any possessions, the hermit is one of several common archetypes.
The best-known hermit is the unnamed solitary man that new adventurers meet in one of the side chambers of The Beginners Cave, the introductory adventure by Donald Brown. Described as old and smelly, the character reappears in The Caves of Eamon Bluff, House on Eamon Ridge, Camp Eamon, Enhanced Beginners Cave, and Bookworm 3-D. His cousin (likewise a hermit) features in Daemon's Playground.
