This is a Class B (silver star) article.
This article is about classes of intelligent beings. For non-intelligent creatures, see Fauna.

Numerous races of intelligent beings inhabit the world of Eamon, many of them familiar races that commonly appear in works of fantasy but some strange or unfamiliar ones that may be unique to the planet. Races are distinguished from other classes of fauna by the fact that their members possess characteristics such as intelligence or reason and the capacity for speech. Certain beings like dragons straddle this line, with some authors presenting them as highly intelligent and others simply as animals; in such cases they appear in both categories.
