Oracle Jones is a resident of Evenhold who spends most of his time at the bar in or near the Main Hall. Appearing only in the introduction to Walled City of Darkness by Tom Zuchowski, Jones is believed by most to be a talentless and shiftless individual only interested in getting people to buy him whiskey, but the adventurer finds that he possesses genuine oracular ability, though only when he's consuming alcohol. After several stiff drinks Jones correctly perceives that Hokas Tokas is in danger in the city of Lumen.

Zuchowski borrowed the character from the 1965 Western movie The Hallelujah Trail in which Jones is played by Donald Pleasence.
