VI mode

VI mode or Vi compatibility mode refers to a software interface that is adapted for use by visually impaired individuals.

Eamon Deluxe by Frank Black features a VI mode which offers alternate menus, programs, and descriptions of visual effects for blind or vision-impaired players who rely on screen readers or other alternate access software. Black credits Luke Hewitt and Patrick Moen for "their extensive help in the inspiration, development and testing of VI Mode."
