Exit

An exit is a feature that allows an adventurer to move from one room to another within an adventure. Exits are normally characteristics of rooms, each of which contains a set of numerical values indicating the adjacent room in each direction. For example, room 10 might specify that there's an exit north that leads to room 11 — and room 11 will likely (but not necessarily) have a corresponding exit leading back south to room 10.
Authors sometimes add hidden exits to rooms; these are not normally apparent in the room description but may be found by examining the room or performing some other action that reveals the exit.
