A Monty Haul adventure is one that's extremely generous in awarding treasure, experience, or other rewards, allowing players to quickly build a very strong, wealthy, or well armed adventurer. Tom Zuchowski used the term when reviewing adventures like The Gauntlet, Temple of the Guild, and The Training Ground.
The term is a reference to Monty Hall, the host of the popular TV gameshow Let's Make a Deal which awarded players valuable prizes.
