Republica

Republica is one of several continents on the world of Eamon and is separated from the neighboring continents of Grancasa and Malcarcel by the dangerous Muerte Sea. In his 2005 adventure Journey Across the Muerte Sea, John MacArthur writes that in ancient times a battle took place in the sea between four elemental gods which left it impassible and the three continents bordering it isolated from each other. The Free Republic city of Gran Buen on the continent's eastern coast is the adventurer's starting point in the adventure.

Several of MacArthur's placenames are based on Spanish words, including republica which means republic in English.
