Floating Island is a large floating mass situated above the northeastern portion of the continent of Grancasa at an altitude of about two miles. All the material that makes up the island naturally seeks to rise to this altitude, and the portions on display in the Museum of Natural History in Evenhold must be held in place by large chains to prevent them from floating away. Various species of flora and fauna live on the island, including floaters and bouncers.
Floating Island is described by Rick Volberding in The Museum of Unnatural History.
