The Islands of Sur are a group of islands on the world of Eamon mentioned in Journey Across the Muerte Sea by John MacArthur. In the future MacArthur describes, the islands form a nation known as the United Islands of Sur (commonly the UI), a small country outside the larger empires. The president of UI naively negotiated a short-lived peace treaty between Malther of the Rojo Empire and the other world powers.
