Griffinville

Griffinville is a village in the land of Saxavania where the adventure The Temple of Dread by Frank Black begins. The story's introduction takes the form of a letter written to the adventurer from Griffinville's mayor J. Houston and Saxavania's ruler Doctor Sax, describing how the village has been plagued by bandits and asking for the adventurer's help.

Among the shops in Griffinville is Blackhawke's Armoury which sells weapons, armor, and equipment.

The unnamed town in Black's Edgar's Adventures may also be Griffinville, since it features a weapons shop run by Blackhawke.
