Oigres

Oigres is a "hick town" that is the starting setting of the adventure Attack of the Kretons by Nathan Segerlind. The adventure begins with the town being besieged by Kreton warriors from the land of Kraut.

The inhabitants of Oigres are unusually fond of cheese dip, eating it with nearly every meal and even drinking a watered form of it. Establishments in the village include shops for cheese dip and rum, a bazaar, a sage, the Drunken Widow tavern, and town hall where the Lord of Oigres, Prince Spagti Thoth, holds court. A poorly-maintained brick and mortar wall surrounds the town.

The town's name is "Sergio" spelled backwards, a reference to cartoonist Sergio Aragonés, the creator of Groo the Wanderer.
