Traal is a planet in the Milky Way Galaxy that features in Frank Black's adventure The Heart of Gold. Teleported accidentally to the planet, the adventurer must face the dreaded Ravenous Buggblatter Beast of Traal, an extremely hungry but also extremely stupid creature. The adventurer and the subdued beast are later collected by a team of visiting zoologists and placed in a zoo.
