Altair V is an alien planet and the setting of the Eamon adventure FutureQuest II by Roger Pender. The adventurer, acting as an agent of the Terran Federation, travels to Altair V in the Sylos sector to assassinate the scientist Mordir Kang and destroy his deadly Zontar Ray Machine.

- Altair is also identified as Alpha Aquilae and is the brightest star in the constellation of Aquila.
