Sirius
Sirius is one of several star systems that the adventurer may visit in The Final Frontier by Bob Slemon, located at coordinates (11,4,10) in the Neutral Zone between the territories of the Nebuleans and the Federation. An advanced alien race known as the Narn inhabit the area and may interfere with or destroy invading vessels to prevent space battles in their territory. During The Final Frontier the Narn teleport the commanders of two starships to a desolate planetoid in or near the Sirius system.
Roger Pender's adventure The Black Phoenix mentions that Sirius was the home of rebel leader Mel Sanchez. It later became part of the Procyon Confederation.
Several artifacts in Frank Black's The Heart of Gold have labels identifying them as products of the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation.
Trivia
- Sirius is also identified as Alpha Canis Majoris and is the brightest star in the constellation of Canis Major.
