Canopus is one of several star systems that the adventurer may visit in The Final Frontier by Bob Slemon, located at coordinates (8,11,16) in a region of space controlled by the hostile Nebuleans. The system was the site of a Death Star-like space station, built by the Nebuleans as a vehicle for a powerful new plasma weapon technology designed by the traitorous scientist Dr. Brown.
Trivia
- Canopus is also identified as Alpha Carinae and is the brightest star in the constellation of Carina.
