BugLog, also known as Eamon Bug Log or Eamon Bug List, is a BASIC Eamon utility program created by John Nelson probably around 1984. In his description of the program, Nelson writes that it "permits a centralized location and a means of keeping track of bugs you might find in Eamon." A player who's recorded such bugs could then share their list with the club to have them fixed.

The program's main menu gives the following options:

  • L List bugs
  • A Add bugs to the file
  • D Delete bug (fix)
  • I Index by adventure
  • B Bug details
  • U Update bug data
  • G Go back to Master

The program reads and writes bug reports in the EAMON.BUGLOG text file, with each record indicating the adventure number, bug name, bug description, and date it was found. A bug report against Nelson's own adventure The Quest for Marron, present in the BugLog text file on some copies of the Eamon Utilities I disk, is shown below as an example and relates to a problem with the character Kathryn:
