Desc Purge is an Eamon utility program written and released by Tom Zuchowski in 1990.
Zuchowski created the program to correct ProDOS adventures that had been extracted from ShrinkIt archive files. When uncompressed, the file size of an adventure's regenerated EAMON.DESC file would be 166 blocks, an average of 50 to 70 blocks larger than the file prior to compression. This could make the adventure took large to fit on a single disk. The utility restores the EAMON.DESC file to its proper size.
