Preparing to initialize a new adventure

Dungeon Init is an Applesoft BASIC utility program included on the Eamon Dungeon Designer disk, originally developed by Donald Brown and revised several times by John Nelson and Tom Zuchowski. The most recent Eamon Dungeon Designer disk from EAG Online includes version 7.1 of Dungeon Init, used to initialize a blank disk for a new version 7 Eamon adventure.

After prompting the user to insert a blank disk, the program asks the user to input the new adventure's title, author name, and adventure number, and to confirm the default lengths of record names. It then creates the necessary starting files for the adventure (Last Update, Eamon.Rooms, Eamon.Desc, etc.) and launches the Eamon Dungeon Designer.
