Transfer Character, also called Character Mover, is a BASIC Eamon utility program written by Donald Brown probably around 1980 and later included by John Nelson on the NEUC's Eamon Utilities I disk. The program transfers a character from a Fresh Meat file back to the Characters file on the Master, a process that restores an adventurer who has died in an adventure. This can also be accomplished using the Resurrect Character utility.
After Nelson's introduction of the expanded Characters.Ext file in 1985, a modified version of the program called Transfer to Character.Ext was made to allow players to move characters from the original file to the new one.
