Valley of Cold Iron

The Valley of Cold Iron is a barony on Eamon described by Bruce Haylock in the introduction to The Pixy Oak. The valley under the rule of the honorable Baron Randal was a peaceful and prosperous place, inhabited either partly or wholly by elves, and was known for the rare anti-magic ore produced in the valley's mines. Baron Kellum and his mercenaries later deposed and killed Randal, imprisoned his heir and the Elven Queen, and tried unsuccessful to force the miners to produce the ore for him. With help from the adventurer the usurper was defeated, the prisoners freed, and the heir — Randal II — crowned as the rightful ruler of the barony.
