The Shadow Mountains are a range of massive mountains on the world of Eamon described by Derek Jeter in his adventure The Treachery of Zorag. The range begins north of Behlos City and extends north-northwest.
The only known route across the range is Old Mountain Road, which ascends the western slopes, crosses through the narrow Pass of Karathas, then descends through the eastern foothills on its way toward the Dead Forest. From the middle of the pass, a steep and difficult path known as the Stair of Karathas ascends even higher up a nearby peak to reach the hidden entrance to the vast Fellspawn Caverns that lie below the mountains.
