Carnivorous Forest

The Carnivorous Forest is a wooded region far northeast of the Kingdom of Evenhold that's mentioned in the Eamon Deluxe version of The Caves of Treasure Island by Paul Braun and Geoffrey Genz. In the original version of the adventure, the crossbow carried by the dragon is described as being made of "oak from NE Eamon"; Frank Black's version, however, describes it as a "top quality, high grained, ultra-powerful crossbow made of oak from the dangerous Carnivorous Forest in a remote part of Eamon."

A Carnivorous Tree features in Adventure in Interzone, and reappears in Frank Black's Battle Royale II. Another, an oak, features in The Life-Orb of Mevtrelek.
