Darkwoods

The Darkwoods, also called the Blackwoods, is a large and dangerous forest in the province of Baronia, located one mile from the town of Baronia and roughly nine days' travel from Evenhold. The forest is the setting for Greg Gioia's adventure Expedition to the Darkwoods in which the adventurer must rescue children who have been kidnapped by marauders living in the forest. Gioia describes the forest as dense and overgrown by brambles, with small, twisting trails connecting occasional clearings.
