Wiki:Copyrights
A copyright is a legal right held by the creator of an original work to control how that work is used. This page describes the policies and guidelines of the Eamon Wiki on matters related to copyrights.
Licenses
Outside materials and content that are added verbatim to the wiki – things like images, PDFs, or pieces of software – must always include a license. This license indicates to readers and editors the reasons why it's appropriate for the item to be included in the wiki.
The table below lists the license types the wiki currently supports. A link to the appropriate license should accompany the description of all files and sources.
For reference, here are some items in the Wiki that use licenses:
- File:Lightning Eamon Basic Set.dsk — uses the permitted license
- File:Draconis Entertainment logo.png — uses the fair use logo license
- File:Eamon 5 - Castle of Doom.dsk — uses the free license
- Source:Fesselmeyer obituary — uses the fair use license

Eamon Wiki copyright
Eamon Wiki (EW) holds copyright on the original graphical elements and visual design of the site, as well as on any logos or other graphical elements that relate specifically to the EW. EW logos should be considered trademarks of the EW. Individual pieces of content original to Eamon Wiki may be republished with the following restrictions: it must be for non-commercial purposes, and it must include clear attribution showing that Eamon Wiki is the source of the content. Mirroring or other large-scale reproduction is forbidden without permission.
