Wiki:Wikification

Wikification, or to wikify something, is the process of converting ordinary textual source material into the form of a wiki page. Unlike the original text, which might be a PDF or a scanned image of a magazine article, newsletter, or manual, the wikified text will be actual searchable text containing hyperlinks to other wiki articles and formatted in a consistent form for easy viewing in a web browser. Most source material in the Eamon Wiki is offered in both its original form (often a PDF) and as wikified text.
