The term PC (an initialism for personal computer) initially referred to a machine similar the original IBM PC, XT, and AT computers, and more recently has come to refer to any multi-purpose machine running the Microsoft Windows operating system (as opposed to systems like MacOS or Linux). The PC is one of several platforms to which Eamon has been ported.
