Eamon Elite was a version of Eamon modified to run on Elite BBS, a network of online bulletin board and file-sharing systems active from the mid-1980s to the mid-1990s. A section of the Eamon bulletin board at GEnie was dedicated to Eamon Elite discussion, but only received a handful of posts.

Tom Zuchowski described the system as follows:

The Eamon Elite file is a set of three Eamon games to be played online through the Elite BBS system. They are NOT meant to be played any other way except while logged on to an Elite BBS. For what it's worth, the three Eamons are oldies from the Eamon list that were modified for Elite. They are readily available. They aren't particularly good ones, even.

In March 1993 a Binary II archive of the Eamon Elite system was uploaded to the GEnie software library by user Frances Goosey (W.GOOSEY). The BASIC code of the launch program includes remarks which indicate it was distributed by the Apple Avocation Alliance and which credit the conversion to Jim Starke. Starke was a BBS sysop in the 1980s and '90s.
