Fizzbin is a computer game written around 1980 by Eamon creator Donald Brown that simulates the fictional Star Trek card game of the same name. The card game first appeared in the 1968 episode "A Piece of the Action" as a made-up pastime designed to be deliberately confusing, with unnecessarily complicated rules that change based on things like the time of day or the day of the week.
Reviews
A review in the August 1980 issue of the Washington Apple Pi newsletter describes Fizzbin "the wildest, most complicated card game in the galaxy" and "a must for all loyal Star Trek fans and card sharks". It awards the game four stars out of five.
