The Public Domain Exchange was a mail-order distributor of public domain software in the 1980s and early 1990s, including Eamon adventures and utilities. In 1985 the PDE published in The Best of Apple Public Domain Software, a catalog and directory of public domain software available from the group, and published a second edition in 1987. Both editions dedicated a four-page section to Eamon.
The PDE's original public mailing address was 673 Hermitage Place in San Jose, California, but by 1987 they had moved to offices in the San Tomas Business Centre at 2074C Walsh Avenue in Santa Clara.
