A reconstructed Apple ProDOS version of the Eamon adventure Castle of Doom, saved as a DSK disk image suitable for use with an Apple II emulator. When Tom Zuchowski uploaded the original Binary II file to GEnie in 1995, both the filename ("eamon.p.062.bxy") and the volume title ("EAMON.062.LC") erroneously referred to adventure number 62, which is the similarly named The Caverns of Doom by Matthew Mullin. The contents, however, were Castle of Doom. This mix-up remained uncorrected until David Swanson reported it to the Eamon Wiki in September 2026. Though the file has been renamed to reflect its actual contents, the disk contents have been preserved just as Zuchowski uploaded them. Note that Zuchowski uploaded a different ProDOS copy of Castle of Doom in April 1990: "eamon.p.005.bxy", which is included here in the wiki's software library as File:Eamon 5 - Castle of Doom (ProDOS).dsk. |

Huw Williams reconstructed this Apple ProDOS disk image from the original Binary II archive in July 2026 using CiderPress II, and retitled it in September 2026 after David Swanson discovered the longstanding error. |
