CiderPress
CiderPress and its successor CiderPress II are free Windows-based applications for exploring and managing Apple II disks and files. The applications let users open, read, and manipulate files contained in disk images in a wide variety of formats. Andy McFadden (faddenSoft) developed the applications.
Versions
Original CiderPress
The original CiderPress was first released in March 2003, having grown from McFadden's earlier NuFX and NuLib projects. The most recent version is v4.1.1, released 12 May 2023.
CiderPress II
McFadden began work on CiderPress II in May 2022, "mostly out of frustration with the awkwardness of the user interface of the original," and released it in May 2023. The revised application is natively cross-platform, has a more modern and streamlined UI, supports additional formats, and features a robust command-line interface (CLI).
