Starfire (sword)

Starfire is a magical weapon from the adventure Starfire by Ed Phillips and is best known as one of the four weapons normally carried by the adventurer Sam.

Appearances

The sword originates in Starfire, hidden in the Black Mountains. Phillips describes Starfire as "the fabled godsword" and notes that it was created by the great forger Gnomedestries.

StarFire Enhanced, an improved version of the original, appears in John MacArthur's Journey Across the Muerte Sea as the weapon of the wizard Jake Oudheusden. Writes MacArthur: "It has an anti-fumble agent and 50% odds (more than enough for a hardened adventurer). You look longingly at it."
