A spear is a piercing weapon normally consisting of a sharpened tip on a long handle or pole, and is one of the five basic weapon types in Eamon and SwordThrust. The game considers all pole weapons to be spear-type weapons.
New adventurers begin with a 10% expertise with spear weapons.
