I have been trying to finish Redemption, found on Softdisk 137. Tom Z was giving me hints and now I have what Sir Blackstone gives and I have his quest. Do you go to the mountains to get the shell? Where? I have been told if I go to the Kings Court, somehow the name of the minstrels will get me in to see the king. But how? The palace guards do not allow me in when I say Midnight Oilers . The clerk doesn't listen and the the scribe doesn't seem to help. Is it possible to go upstairs at the Hall I need lots of help with this. This will do for now.

I am trying to finish #121 Wrenholds's Secret Vigil. I have gotten into the Religious sanctum and found the skeleton of the old wizard. Do I get anything here? If so, how do I get it. I think I'm supposed to go behind this or something but I cannot seem to find it. What does the magic cube do outside of glow from one side or another. If I give the dead rabbit to the death dog, does he help me or give me something? What am I supposed to do with the metal pedestal? Thanks in advance.

Gee, Bruce, you're sure having a lot of trouble. You've got to read the descriptions VERY carefully in advanced-level Eamons such as these.
Can't get in to see the king in "Redemption"? Did you ask the guards for an audience? (You've got to read the people descriptions especially carefully, since they only appear once! I complained about this during Beta testing but Sam overruled me for technical reasons.)
OK, here is the complete, final poop on "Wrenhold's Secret Vigil": go to the Worship Room (beyond the bronze door). LOOK to discover the secret passage west. Go west into the Concealed Room. EXAMINE DEVICE. GET LEVER. OPEN DEVICE. GET LIFE-ORB. From here you have two options. You can put the orb in the metal pedestal, or you can leave with it. Both are good solutions.

Well, I suppose I do. And I'll keep badgering you. <<grin>> Maybe I'll learn from all your little tips and helps. I did finish Wrenhold. Seems like I destroyed it. I guess I should do it again and take it out to see what will happen. Also thanks for Redemption. I've sent you a private message about my new problem, to avoid the repetition. I do hope that even if you get impatient, you will keep helping. Get mad if you like, just keep helping. I'm a great believer that it's the fool who never asks, not the one who asks foolish questions. I especially like picking the brain of experts, which you certainly are. See you in the online roundtables.

Another hint for, especially, newer Eamons which allow the use of "embedded" artifacts- EXAMINE everything in the room. Some authors like to put a lot of things in the room this way- this way, the player must EXAMINE the artifact before he can see it or do anything with it.
And the usual thing for text adventures: TRY EVERYTHING!!!!!
