Apple DOS is the original disk operating system of the Apple II family of personal computers, introduced by Apple in June 1978 and superceded by ProDOS in January 1983. Apple DOS was the system for which all early Eamon software was built, and authors continued to code original AppleDOS adventures even after the advent of ProDOS.
The EAG Utilities Disk includes a program called Eamon DOS Remover used to delete Apple DOS from a disk in order to free space for other content.
