Star Wars, also referred to as Death Star, is an Apple DOS game written in BASIC by Donald Brown in 1979 which features characters and settings from the 1977 film Star Wars by George Lucas. In the game the player controls a rebel aboard the Empire's infamous Death Star who is seeking to rescue other members of the rebellion, eliminate storm troopers, kill Darth Vader, and blow up the space station.
In 1980 Brown adapted his Star Wars program into the Eamon adventure The Death Star.
