Jeff Harris was a contributor to the Eamon Adventurer's Log newsletter, where he was credited by editor John Nelson as a "local barbarian artist and critic", "local cartoonist", "cartoonaire to the king", and other humorous titles. Harris wrote the "Designer's Den" column for the May 1985 issue of the newsletter, and noted in it that he was a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism.
In adventures
Harris is mentioned in Kenn Blincoe's adventure The Deep Canyon: "A blue dragon walks in, suddenly realizes he's in the Deep Canyon, mumbles something about how he's going to swallow Jeff Harris alive, and disappears."
