The sinister Wayfarer's Inn sits abandoned and crumbling on the northern
border of the hamlet of Geldhaven, in the deep forest just beyond Taiga Gorge.
A syndicate of foreign investors has bought the property, sight unseen, and
set about renovating it when things go awry. Now the artisans tasked with the
work have disappeared, and you are hired by the town council to investigate
and resolve the crisis, as well as obtain long-lost documentation about the
Inn's previous owners. Can you survive an exploration of the region's most
infamous landmark? An original Eamon CS adventure by Michael R. Penner.
[Tiaga Gorge, Granite Formation]
You stand atop a towering granite formation covered with scattered shrubs,
looking down over rushing water. The swiftly-moving current cascades over a
series of worn boulders, forming small waterfalls and whirlpools as it cuts
through the rocky gorge some 60 feet below. The dark forest encroaches at
your back and also across the river. You get the strangest sense that you've
seen this place before, but for your life, you can't quite figure out where.
Obvious paths: none.
