Template:Information/doc
The information template creates a standardized table that provides information about a source or a file, including a description of what it shows, when it was made, origin, and copyright status.
Parameters
Here is an example of the template as it would be used for a file:

Description
This should be a brief description of the source or file. If it's a screenshot that includes text, it's good to transcribe that text into the description using the screenquote template.
Source
This is the place where the item came from. If it came from a website, include a link to the site.
Date
Use the date when the item was originally created (not the date you uploaded it).
Author
This is the original creator(s) of the item.
License
See Wiki:Copyrights for a list of license types.
Other versions
If the Wiki has another closely-related version of the item (like the same image but in another format, cropped differently, etc.), use this parameter to include a link to it.
If linking to a file, always remember to start the link with a colon like so: :File:The Beginners Cave intro.png
.
Previous
If the item is one is an ordered series of items, you can use this to show a link to the previous item in the series.
Next
As above, but links to the next item in the series.
