ADT (or Apple Disk Transfer) is a freeware utility created by Paul Guertin that can transfer the contents of 5.25-inch 16-sector Apple II disks to a DSK file on a PC, or write a DSK back to a formatted 5.25-inch disk. The process requires a null modem connection between serials ports on the two machines. Tom Zuchowski mentioned the utility in the March 1996 issue of the club newsletter.
Specialized variants include ADTPro for ProDOS compatibility, ADTgs for use with the AppleIIgs modem port, and others.
