A users groups, or more specifically a computer users group, is a club dedicated to a particular kind of computer technology, often offering meetings, lectures, newsletters, software libraries, and other services for its members to learn more about the technology and connect with other enthusiasts. Many Apple user groups formed in the late 1970s and early '80s and were one channel through which Eamon software was often shared and distributed.
