Robert Clardy, with his wife Ann Dickens Clardy, founded the software company Synergistic Software in Seattle in 1978, and created the Apple II game Odyssey: The Compleat Apventure which they published in 1980. The game came out at around the same time or shortly after Donald Brown completed Eamon, and uses very similar artwork on its splash screen.
