Clyde Easterday (17 July 1931 – 8 August 2020) was the author of the Eamon adventure Idol of the Incas and a member of the Eamon Adventurer's Guild.

Easterday wrote a letter to the club published in the September 1999 newsletter in which he suggested that the game should offer more guidance and accommodation for novice players, and supported Tom Zuchowski's idea of publishing the club's mailing list so members could more easily correspond with each other.

In his letter Easterday also shared some of his interests:

I am retired now but I have many irons in the fire. Radio controlled model airplane builder and flyer, treasure hunter (coins) using a metal detector, write some basic computer programs, and wood working in my wood shop to name just a few of the things that take up a lot of my time... If there is anything I can do to help keep Eamon alive, please let me hear from you.

Easterday was also a skilled tournament bowler in the 1960s and '70s. Originally from Atchison, Kansas, he later lived in Kahoka, Missouri before returning to his home town. His wife Marge shared news of his death in correspondence with Huw Williams.
